This powerful soap contains a synergistic blend of therapeutic herbs, including noni and white willow to reduce irritation and soothe the skin. The soap also contains bentonite clay for its detoxifying properties, along with grindelia and sassafras to effectively eliminate the itch. To prevent a rash from developing after coming into contact with poison ivy, oak or sumac: 1) Wet skin with cool water. 2) Gently exfoliate the affected areas with the coarse side (top) of the soap bar. 3) Using the smooth side (bottom) of the soap bar, create a thick lather and rub into skin. 4) Leave lather on skin for at least five minutes and then rinse thoroughly, but gently. Those with sensitive or dry skin should skip step 2. To soothe an irritation or rash that has already developed: Work up a lather a second time and allow soap to dry on your skin, for lasting relief. Use 3 times daily or as needed until the rash subsides.
